WIT Seed Grants
WIT gave a call for seed grants to enhance the capacity of the centre to execute larger projects with help from LUMS faculty and students. The centre received proposals for a total funding of PKR 4.8 Million. With these awards, it has committed to fund a total of PKR 3.6 Million for the projects. The Office of Sponsored Programmes and Research (OSPR) will administer these grants on behalf of WIT. The awardees have also been appointed as Faculty Associates of the centre for the academic year 2016-17. The seed grants are meant to fund exploratory ideas over a relatively short duration (8 months) during which the center will actively work with the awardees to scale up the ideas to full-scale projects. Based on a thorough review process, WIT has awarded ten grants to the following faculty from across LUMS:
