Summer Mentorship Program (SMP)
The Summer Mentorship Program (SMP) is an annual research initiative at the Centre for Water Informatics & Technology (WIT), LUMS, designed to immerse undergraduate students in cutting-edge research that advances WIT’s mission of sustainable water management, smart agriculture, and climate resilience.
This one-month program provides selected students with the opportunity to contribute to innovative, interdisciplinary projects under the mentorship of WIT faculty and staff. Participants gain hands-on experience, engage in collaborative learning, and receive a stipend upon successful completion of the program.
Undergraduate students from all universities are eligible to apply. However, based on the specific requirements of each project, some opportunities may be limited to students from relevant academic disciplines. Project-specific eligibility criteria are shared in detail with the call for applications.
